Laowa 85mm F5.6 2x Ultra Macro lens for L-mount cameras
Venus Optics, also known as Laowa, has just added one more lens option to L-mount camera systems, the Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2X Ultra Macro APO – L mount.
Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2X Ultra Macro APO is the SMALLEST 2X ultra macro lens in the market. Compared to Laowa 100mm f/2.8 weighted 650g, it weighed just around 252g which is super portable and handy for macro photographers. Many commercial photographers are looking for a super-compact lens for jobs. 85mm is a good choice for commercial photography gears.
It features an apochromatic (APO) characteristic that chromatic aberration at both ‘in-focus & ‘out-of-focus is compressed to a minimum. This new lens can focus from 2:1 magnification to infinity which can serve as both macro and portrait lens with excellent image quality.
